Driving Accross America

I have not forgotten you, dear blog.

The reason for my absence was moving across country from Washington to Tennessee.

Here were my status updates:

"1395 miles since we left Richland, Washington. We stayed overnight in Pendleton, Oregon, and with family in Rock Springs, Wyoming. We have enjoyed visiting and catching up with everyone, and the dogs have made some new friends. Tonight we decided to stop in a small town called Hastings, Nebraska. It's a really nice town. Tomorrow we'll keep driving towards Tennessee."

"We spent the day driving through Nebraska, Iowa for awhile and into Missouri. We decided to stop in St. Louis, Missouri for the evening and saw the Gateway Arch at the Core. We sure are having a delightful time traveling."

"We arrived in Tennessee on Monday evening. We spent the day driving through Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky and into Tennessee. Our cabin is situated on 8 1/2 acres of the Cherokee National Forest. We have been without internet, very peaceful and secluded."

It took us about 4 days, with one day spent with family.

We had not one hiccup along the way...and we arrived to this:

It's a cabin in the Appalachian Mountains in Tennessee.

So far we've been to Chattanooga Zoo, Charlotte, NC, Knoxville, TN and Pigeon Forge, TN for daytrips.

Here's some pictures:

Now that we've settled, I'll update my blog with some of our adventures.
