2nd Annual Easter at The Biltmore

He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay - Matthew 28:6 KJV

Spring is my favorite season, and Easter is my favorite holiday of all. It's the start of new beginnings, more blessings, birds singing, warmer days, pastel dresses, buds and blossoms, and raindrops that leave a fresh dew in the air. Come along for a glimpse into our Easter weekend celebrations:

- Good Friday brunch in the garden -

- Oscar -

- Sophie -

- Tulips abound -

- Easter Sunday we headed to the Blue Ridge Mountains to The Biltmore. We first had a buffet luncheon at The Deerpark, then headed to the house for the Downton Abbey exhibition -

- We bought some fresh lemonade and sat in the walled garden, with tulips abound for Biltmore blooms -

- The Blue Ridge Mountains -

- Afterwards we went for dinner at the Bistro, which was delicious, then we meandered back home -

What gorgeous weather for a road trip! You're well ahead of me, it just makes me so impatient.
