Maria Shriver has been asking us, what women want.
Born into a wholesome Irish Catholic family, Maria has become an architect of change, guided by her spirituality.
I loved this video of her talking about her mother, Eunice Shriver.
Her father Sargent Shriver.
And with her mother, about her grandmother Rose Kennedy.
Even if you don't agree with the families politics, you have to admit they are rooted with a strong foundation. The women have as much, almost equal contribution to it's legacy.
Maria's latest project is the Shriver Report on what women want.

What struck a cord with me, is that only 20% of families are the traditional nuclear family today that has a working father and a stay at home mother.
More than any other time women are having to lead the household and juggle being a provider, nurturer, and encourager.
My mother was one of those people. After an attack at their home (South Africa) in the early 1990's, my mother tried to convinced my dad for over two years, that they needed to flee (to our ancestral England) for safety. In the end, he decided he didn't want to move with his family, and instead remained with his company. Because of my mom's decision to leave, he decided not to provide for his family. Since 1994, twenty years this year, my mother has provided a warm, loving and encouraging home.
