Good morning my dears. Hope you slept well.
Here's a little Pinterest inspiration for you to start your day with.
Our autumn weather has been unseasonably warm. Over 90 degrees most days.
However, it was a little more breezy on Saturday afternoon, so we went to the farm and had an autumn picnic. I used my phone to serenade us by one of my favorites - Doris Day (the song will make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside).
For the floral arrangement I used greenery from our garden, with autumn rod and Kenyan roses.
Pumpkin Spice Cupcakes
(with candy corn pumpkins)
Cheddar and Golden Tomato Tea Sandwiches
(I added a slither of mayonnaise and a dash of cracked pepper)
Dirt Pudding
(Chocolate pudding with dark chocolate shavings and a sprig of mint)
Everything was simple and delicious.
We enjoyed talking about the past week and the week to come. We've been busy bees, as we approach week three of building our farmhouse.
So until next time, have a blessed week.
Kiki Nakita
P.S I'm hoping to finish my September Little Things post sometime this week, fingers crossed our internet doesn't go out.
